The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?

We should not give in to them…like children when you give them 2 pieces of candy, they want 3 more…I hate giving in to them….Blows my mind…..
And AMERICANS in that area should tell them that if they do not put it back up then they will NOT eat their any longer. So they can either Support what america is about OR go out of business.
