The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?

I have learned to HATE all Muslims. Their fault.
They serve breakfast, not politics? The only reason I can see, for removing the sign, is that the sign was on “public property”. I see no need for anyone’s sign being on public property.
People should boycott that restaurant and show them what backlash really is. This is almost stupid.

Hopefully all their food is seasoned with bacon
They do not have to eat the bacon–take down their BIG mosques because they offend me–send them back to where they come form and let them eat all the rotten meat they want. Bet pres and mrs eat bacon!!
