The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
Are they also removing bacon from their menu? The muslim’s won’t be happy until they do and then they will move on to their next ridiculous demands. If you don’t like the way we do things then go home. Come to think of it, go home either way.
better yet wash the threshold with pig blood and dont tell them till they have crossed the line and chase them out with fat back
