Law enforcement in Eugene, OR have stated they will forcibly draw blood on anyone refusing a breathalyzer this coming July 4th weekend.
Of course, drunk driving is a very serious matter. But do you agree that law enforcement can take such physical action against someone not yet convicted of a crime when they can still detain you by giving less intrusive tests, just as they have done for years?
Turning communist.
I don’t drink and will sue the fk out of them…
agree DUI is very bad— however I believe the law is getting way to power hungry—- they can decide you did something and search and or take and you basically have no rights– it’s stated in the Constitution you do however they state “it’s for your own good” and just do what they want wouldn’t want a cops job– they never know what they’re walking into at any given time so I can understand go in with force however it seems they forget to tone it down after any threat is handled. There’s cases now where SWAT type teams think they are above the law to the point of almost being rogue.. on the same token if you didn’t do something wrong technically they should leave you alone…. Should????
the supreme court has ruled many a times that pulling people over without probable cause is illegal..everyone sue them…
A celebration of FREEDOM !!! USA,USA,USA,USA,USA!!!
In Wisconsin, if you refuse the breathalyzer, you are automatically assumed to be D U I . Stay the f;;; away from me with your needles! I’m on blood thinners. How many people will you endanger by poking them with a sharp instrument? Why not use your batons?…business as usual!
I see riots on the horizon………………………………..
DNA COLLECTION!
it’s crazy
They will FORCIBLY draw blood on me one time and one time only. Sense they feel they can hold me and draw blood AGAINST my will for NO REASON then I see NO REASON why I CAN”T stop them when they are by themselves and do the same thing to them.
