Law enforcement in Eugene, OR have stated they will forcibly draw blood on anyone refusing a breathalyzer this coming July 4th weekend.
Of course, drunk driving is a very serious matter. But do you agree that law enforcement can take such physical action against someone not yet convicted of a crime when they can still detain you by giving less intrusive tests, just as they have done for years?
In Wisconsin if you refuse the breathalyzer you are automatically to be judged GUILTY . PERIOD
South Dakota has done this for years.
BAD IDEA – bloodborne pathogens, lawsuits, etc.
They should be jailed for excessive force. and police brutality
this is so wrong
Sticking a needle in me against my will is a good way to get yourself killed… No damn way….
they are invading something they have no, right to get a big law suit going and have it define on who owns your blood
This is total bull $#%&!@*!! No Dam Way!!

Constitutional law suit here. You really should have a warrant to do such a thing. It is a violation of Constitutional rights to do such a thing without a warrant. Avoid Oregan at all costs and boycott the communist state and the city of Eugene, OR. I am now so glad that I have NEVER been to that state at all.
