It is becoming routine for police in some states to collect the DNA of people at random. Referred to as “stop and spit,” the practice involves swabbing the inside of someone’s mouth then sending off the sample for analysis. The results are then stored in a database.
It’s put forth as a way of potentially reducing crime. Of course, is a complete violation of the Fourth Amendment’s protection against unlawful searches. The old Marxist propaganda of giving up one’s freedom for security is a tried and true method of collapsing a free society under despotic rule.

I mean, the only constitutional rights you actually give a$#%&!@*about are the rights to be an$#%&!@*to others via the first amendment, and the right to own a gun. Both are important, but pale in comparison when it comes to unalienable rights, such as the right to an attorney or the right to a fair and speedy trial. Police departments are already backlogged in waiting for results from actual cases. They don’t have the time nor the resources to do this.

The police department doesn’t have the money to run a rape kit through the lab… That’s why very few rapist are not caught. All they can do is throw the swab away…. NO MONEY,,,
