Jamal Jones, his girlfriend Lisa Mahone, and their two children, 14 and 7, were going to a hospital to visit Lisa’s dying mother.
Cops stopped them who state that they pulled the family over because Mahone was not wearing her seat belt. After she showed her ID and insurance they asked for Jamal’s ID, who was the passenger.
Shortly after he stated he didn’t have it due to receiving a ticket, cops asked that he get out of the vehicle, which he refused to do.

This is not police brutality, it’s a clear cut case of someone being a dumbass, and having zero respect for the law. Show them your ID take your ticket and show up at court and plead your case to the judge. That’s how the system works whether you like it or not. The side of the road is not the time or place to show your ass, or guess what this is what you get….real simple people..
Looked like problem solved!!
An officer ask you to roll down the window and produce ID. WTH would do. OMG! He must not have learned a damn thing in school. Let’s think about this for a minute. Cop over reacts? Hum. Then I see that he’s going thru the school of hard knocks like most lessons learned. Hahaha. Should have listen to someone. Looks like a case of dumb ass. SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND LISTEN!!!!!
Not showing i.d = window smashed and getting tazed wow. Sounds like a power trip.
That lady was smoking in the car. Poor kids. They were just trying to vent the car of second hand smoke. lol
I guess the police should just say “ok nevermind, I guess since you dont want this ticket you can drive away now and have a nice day sir. SORRY I inconvienced you for breaking the law.” If you dont like the laws complain to the polititians that make them not the ones that are responsible for enforcing them!
I guess Wayne Whitehead prefers Anarchy.
Sounds like obtructing a police officer. Class A misdemeanor in Illinois and jailable offense.
If your breaking the law no matter how petty the offense is you cant refuse to produce your ID. If you want to escalate a seat belt ticket into a Felony arrest that is up to you not the Police.
This cop is absolutely in the right. The law states that over the age of 18 you need to always have a state identification card on you when in the public. If he had his drivers license taken by the State because he broke the law in the first place than he needed to go get a state ID. As soon as he could not show identification he had broken the law. The cop dose not know if he’s a murderer, if he has warrants or what his criminal history is. Refusing to comply with an officer after breaking the law only means that he needs to get him out of the vehicle and get him to stop resisting. So for all the people out there that think there making a stand by pretending like you know your rights,STOP. Utilize your rights but make sure your not breaking the laws that were made to protect you just like your rights. And if your going to “make a stand” make sure you actually know and understand your rights. Don’t just pick out parts that best suets you.
