Connecticut has become the first state in the nation to virtually end homelessness of its Veterans. The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH), and other non-profits have been out scouring the state identifying homeless Veterans, and handing out vouchers for permanent or temporary housing. National and state officials set a goal to end the plight of homeless Veterans.
How was this accomplished? See next page:
Good for them, With all the empty good buildings, there should never be homeless or unemployed able vet.
According to a veteran site/page this not true, just like new Orleans couple weeks ago said same thing but veterans were still on the streets, its just a gimmick to get votes,,, i wish it was true because i am veteran and faced the street situation myself,, i tend to believe veterans before i believe a Internet site!
Bout time , and kick out the illegals
Should be for every states.
Veterans come before illegals.
It’s about time we started to supporting the Vets!
I hope other states follow…these men and women have given so much, they need to be help!
I cannot stand Connecticut, but God bless you for stepping up and taking this stand for what is long over due. I might come to visit now. That puts you in higher standings in the eyes of many Americans.
About time states started doing something for our vets.
