At last week’s marathon press conference, Donald Trump surprised conservatives and liberals alike with an answer about illegal immigration.
When asked how he planned to proceed with DACA — the program that provides legal status to minors who were brought into the country illegally — the president said: “To me, it’s one of the most difficult subjects I have because you have these incredible kids — in many cases, not in all cases. In some of the cases, they’re having DACA and they’re gang members and they’re drug members, too. But you have some absolutely incredible kids — I would say mostly — they were brought in here in such a way. It’s a very, very tough subject.” Ultimately, he said he would deal with their situation “with heart.”
Despite the fairly moderate answer, liberals quickly seized onto Trump’s use of the word “gang members” and ignored the fact that he said most of the kids were “absolutely incredible.”

Now I have heard about the black caucus and the Hispanic caucus. But when does the white caucus meet? And by the way the ruling party is making the call for all Americans not just some communities. Whites, at one point in our glorious history, didn’t allow minorities to vote. (with me so far?)
Laws actually had to be changed to let them have the same rights as white folk. (still keeping up?)
Once those laws allowed them to vote, minorities started to get elected. (imagine that)
The white folks in congress didn’t like that (they were pretty racist at the time, some still are)
Those white folk froze them out of the process. Didn’t slow then to serve on comities, didn’t allow then on any of their caucuses.
