At last week’s marathon press conference, Donald Trump surprised conservatives and liberals alike with an answer about illegal immigration.
When asked how he planned to proceed with DACA — the program that provides legal status to minors who were brought into the country illegally — the president said: “To me, it’s one of the most difficult subjects I have because you have these incredible kids — in many cases, not in all cases. In some of the cases, they’re having DACA and they’re gang members and they’re drug members, too. But you have some absolutely incredible kids — I would say mostly — they were brought in here in such a way. It’s a very, very tough subject.” Ultimately, he said he would deal with their situation “with heart.”
Despite the fairly moderate answer, liberals quickly seized onto Trump’s use of the word “gang members” and ignored the fact that he said most of the kids were “absolutely incredible.”

Doug that’s pretty easy for a bond haired white guy to say. The truth is far from the ivory tower you live in. There is a large sector of natural born american citizens that are harassed daily for no other reason than their ethnic heritage. If you think that is right then you have sense of truth or reality and its YOU that is invested in a lie.
The difficulty is that the kids didn’t have a choice and if their parents get deported then who takes care of the kids. It’s a double edge sword. You can’t deport a citizen. This is a decision I’m glad I don’t have to make. Uphold the law unequivocally or figure out how to make exceptions and it be right and fair.

So let me get this straight, your political base are CRIMINAL ALIENS, and your butt hurt?
That’s why I said the kids, (DACA) should be given some consideration. If the parents aren’t involved in anything criminal, the parents at that point could be given green cards and go through the process of becoming a citizen like other law abiding immigrants have done.
Sorry. Your outrage means nothing if you aren’t outraged at the mayhem caused by illegal criminals in this country.
