At last week’s marathon press conference, Donald Trump surprised conservatives and liberals alike with an answer about illegal immigration.
When asked how he planned to proceed with DACA — the program that provides legal status to minors who were brought into the country illegally — the president said: “To me, it’s one of the most difficult subjects I have because you have these incredible kids — in many cases, not in all cases. In some of the cases, they’re having DACA and they’re gang members and they’re drug members, too. But you have some absolutely incredible kids — I would say mostly — they were brought in here in such a way. It’s a very, very tough subject.” Ultimately, he said he would deal with their situation “with heart.”
Despite the fairly moderate answer, liberals quickly seized onto Trump’s use of the word “gang members” and ignored the fact that he said most of the kids were “absolutely incredible.”
Read about how members of the Hispanic Caucus used the quote to attack Trump and ICE on the next page:

And Lincoln’s was no Republican. Lincoln was a card caring liberal. To suggest that the Republicans of today have anything in common with Lincoln’s shows a gross ignorance of history.
The reason wer have a black and Hispanic caucus is because the white caucus (called congress) didn’t let then in. They were specifically excluded from conversation and debate so they formed their own caucus. Now, ignorant twats like you have the nerve to come on here and ask “why are they seperate?”. Really, learn some history you privileged self righteous piece of c**p.
We have a white caucus. Its called congress
We have one because whites specifically excluded blacks and Hispanics from discussions and debates in congress. Didn’t let then serve on committees, didn’t let them speak.
They formed these caucuses to form a untied front and combat that bigotry.
And now we see, once again, that although we thought we had made significant progress in this area we are back to the point of banning groups that don’t agree with our policies and opinions.
Uh, no. The key words are “were brought” meaning they committed no crime themselves.
Why is it every time president Trump makes a statement only the bad is told.A these folks in denial that that there are dangerous ganh members in these groups
Waawaawaa, nothing but crybabies everywhere being played like a harp by the media. No sympathy for them.
Bye
If they are here legally, they have nothing to be scared about.
If they are citizens, they have nothing to be afraid of.
