When Congress passed the Intelligence Authorization Act for 2015, it granted the executive branch not only the ability to spy on American citizens private communications, but also the legal authority to turn that information over to local law enforcement.
All of this can be done without any court order being granted, all in the name of ‘fighting terror’, of course.

Why is everyone surprised? Cell phones, emails, facebook, are not secure, anyone can see or listen in. I cannot believe the info some people post than feign horror that someone knows where you live, your name etc. There’s a reason I still have a hard line. As far as I know they still need a court order to tap a hard line, but who knows with this government I may just be kidding myself.
for someone who stood on “open & transparent” government which like everything else from this administration more and more this government is taking freedom away and doing it in the name of “terrorism” no longer would “officials need a warrant” slowly they’re taking the rights granted to us by the Founding Fathers — I don’t care which party any of those clowns belong to — if people don’t wake up soon they will have their fingers into everything and use “For the Good of the People” bull$hit they’re attacking 1st -2nd- 4th Amendments history always repeats itself especially if the lesson wasn’t learned the 1st time
