When Congress passed the Intelligence Authorization Act for 2015, it granted the executive branch not only the ability to spy on American citizens private communications, but also the legal authority to turn that information over to local law enforcement.
All of this can be done without any court order being granted, all in the name of ‘fighting terror’, of course.

If it wasn’t for the taking of our liberties we wouldn’t need their security. If you can’t protect yourself without the governments help than sorry about your bad luck. It’s called only the strong survive. Plus we wouldn’t need any protection if it wasn’t for the government getting into other countries business or trying to exploit them for natural resources in the first place.
