When Congress passed the Intelligence Authorization Act for 2015, it granted the executive branch not only the ability to spy on American citizens private communications, but also the legal authority to turn that information over to local law enforcement.
All of this can be done without any court order being granted, all in the name of ‘fighting terror’, of course.
MOVE TO PAGE 2:
If you think they haven’t been doing this for years anyway then something is wrong with you. How many years ago has it been that Snowden ratted them out?

What the hell is the swastka for?!?!?!?!
Like anything else, as long as it is in honest hands to protect the country.

Are you fucking serious?
2014. You are a little behind the times……..
Before cell phones became smartphones the ability to monitor analog cell phone conversations, police calls, baby monitors, etc. or to modify scanners or ham radio equipment to receive those frequencies was made illegal. Prior to this legislation such equipment was easily modified so anyone could monitor cell phones, police, etc. Manufacturers were required by law to build these devices in a manner that they could not be modified. There was one exception, two models were to be produced. One for the average citizen and one for any police or government organization. The police, government model was wide open meaning it would receive cell phone conversations. With proper credentials you could purchase the open version. They could also be purchased outside of our borders i.e. Canada, Japan etc. by mail order. Next digital and now encryption came on the scene which made it more difficult and expensive. The point is do not think they have not been listening in since phones and computers were invented. I haven’t read the new legislation so I don’t know what new authority the government will have.
not cool
