The small town of Nucla, Colorado, with a population of 750, passed the state’s first and only municipal ordinance in 2014 requiring heads of households to own guns and ammo, “in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the town and its inhabitants.”
“We more or less kind of wanted to give criminals a heads up. Stay out of this town. We’re armed,” stated board member Richard Craig.

2nd Amendment rights applies to all states!! man up people.
good for them they know whats up and whats not
I believe its that way cause those kids were brought up around guns and were taught to respect them. In the city its total opposite. No one is hunting the inner city or doing target practice. Firearms there are usually for commiting crimes or for protection from the people that are using the guns to commit the crimes!
I walked 5 miles to the school bus stop….yes, it WAS uphill both ways, and I carried a rifle to school for bear protection. Took it on the bus and stored it in the principals office until it was time to carry it back onto the bus for the return trip. Nobody was shot, no one hyperventilated at the sight of it, no one called the cops, the local news printed nothing about it. It was a WW2 military grade .303 caliber British Enfield with a SCARY bayonet fitting on the muzzle. And, each and every day….all day long, a hunting knife dangled from my belt.
Come to rob, hurt my family, or take my weapons and you will face my wrath. I might die but you certainly will too.
This is as wrong as trying to outlaw guns. It restricts a persons personal choices!!. No law should do that.
spread this far and wide so we all have the right
GREAT TOWN
Good needs guns too
Good.
