The small town of Nucla, Colorado, with a population of 750, passed the state’s first and only municipal ordinance in 2014 requiring heads of households to own guns and ammo, “in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the town and its inhabitants.”
“We more or less kind of wanted to give criminals a heads up. Stay out of this town. We’re armed,” stated board member Richard Craig.

Not really a surprise, If you grow up taught what respect is, [and the majority of kids aren’t anymore, sadly.] that influences every aspect of your life. Then, It’s not even a thought to use that knowledge for doing wrong. RATHER, you understand the potential that comes with it and the “Responsibility” that comes with it. Even young people can be taught that. But I think the age and maturity is important too.
And you don’t introduce “assault type weapon’s into the
age mix like the parents of a 13
Year old did. That has a possibly Of going wrong at the outset, which it sadly did. You don’t need to be aware of or familiar with assault equipment, till you are old enough to be in the military. Just my opinion. I know in other places they don’t care, kids who can use assault rifles etc are expendable, they are just more bodies shooting and dieing.
That, from a peaceful religion. [Not] That is barbaric.
And war, and destruction is not cool, by any means.
Smart town
