It was only a matter of time before the left attacked patriotism as an offensive state of mind. This week, they’ve done just that.
Clinton Secretary of Labor Robert Reich attacked the idea of American exceptionalism as “exclusionary” and a result of Donald Trump’s promotion of America-first policies. Of course — if anything comes from Donald Trump it must be bad.
He goes beyond attacking the GOP nominee in his post in the SF Gate. He attacks all Americans who fear Islamic extremism. He denies the phenomenon of homegrown terror, despite the fact that the terrorists behind both the Orlando and San Bernardino attacks were all born in the United States. He even criticizes the “Republicans in Congress” who are unwilling to let individuals from Central America to flow across the nation’s borders.
His view of America isn’t patriotism, it is a dismantling of America as an identity.

Yesterday, when most of the country was not paying attention, Hillary Clinton was interviewed by the (FBI) Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding her illegal use of a private email server. If an ordinary citizen did the same, they would be prosecuted fully. How can it be thinkable that she is even allowed to run for the presidency of the United States? Do we no longer have any standards in America, people? We have lost all respect for our laws. Our political election system is an embarrassment, and it is a disgraceful example we are showing to our youth by allowing a candidate who is being investigated criminally.
The worst and most outrageous part is two-fold — that our President would endorse a candidate being investigated by the FBI and that the Attorney General would meet privately on a federal government plane with former President Bill Clinton at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport for 30 minutes, while his wife is being investigated by the FBI. This isn’t about Donald Trump. This is about respect for our laws and the integrity of our justice system, that no one individual is above the law. Our Democratic Party friends need to step up and demand that Hillary Clinton end her presidential candidacy immediately. All Americans should be calling their elected officials in Washington, DC, and demand that Attorney General Loretta Lynch, recuse herself from the Hillary Clinton email investigation. President Obama should not set foot on a stage with Hillary Clinton on Tuesday. If he does, he should resign immediately. We, as a nation, either have laws that we follow or we don’t. It’s up to us all — Democrats, Republicans, and Independents — to demand that Hillary Clinton be removed from the presidential general election. We have to fight for the integrity of our country! What say you?
Listen Short$#%&!@* you used fear mongering during most of your tenure in the Clinton Administration. Your successes came from the two previous administrations and then you start pushing the community re-investment act with Dodd and Frank. When things didn’t go your way you used fear of the economy, (you had nothing to do with improving) going bad. So don’t be spewing this BS about Republicans.
