Operators of the Nash Farm Battlefield Museum in Hampton, Georgia, have decided to close the five-year old Civil War museum after a Henry County commissioner demanded removal of Confederate artifacts.
The museum has been run by a nonprofit organization to commemorate the site of an August 1864 battle in the American Civil War. It’s been housed in a historic building in what has been a Henry County park.
Commissioner Dee Clemmons, an African-American woman, began her demands on the museum with a request to remove a Confederate flag displayed on a flagpole.

You can’t change history stupid ass
They should try to tell the truth about why this war was started.
So, your saying it took until 1958 for southern traitors to get enough of our legislative branch representatives to make them into veterans. All we need to do then is get enough senators to turn the treasonous swine back into traitors then correct? The Confederate army fought against the United States of America. They were traitors because they didn’t want to lose their free labor aka slaves. I love my country and am way to much of a patriot to allow treason of any kind against my flag to stand.
This is a criminal action by one person. If history is changed we are doomed to repeat it! It tears at the fabric of how far we have came to right a terrible Wrong! Shame on you lady!
Time to tell these idiots you can’t erase history
