A new ruling out of a Colorado appeals court is forcing a custom cake baker in suburban Denver to bake cakes for homosexual marriages.
Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, said he has no problem serving gays in his family business. But, he can’t design a wedding cake for same-sex couples as it is a violation of his Christian beliefs.

Very wrong!
No way. Go to the gay bakery !
BUT how must that CAKE look and Taste?
just make them, God loves you!!
People are people know one has a right to judge another human being only Jesus. BAKE THE CAKE, I AM A,CHRISTIAN.
Stop preaching hate, this is not against God’s laws. God has no law about providing services as a business owner. I do not agree that the government should have stepped in but had Chrisyans acted like Christians the government would not be involved. However even Jesus said if your enemy is hungry, give him something to eat. If he is thirsty give him something to drink. So please do not use religion as a way to justify hatred. Jesus would have hated the sin but loved the sinners.
For $uck sakes! Then a dam gay person open up their own bakery! This country is so freaking sensitive!
That’s just about everyone, every group has extremists. This is why the Government shouldn’t have gotten involved. They make things worse.
The actual religious ceremony is still protected by the first amendment. A church, as a non profit religious ins$#%&!@*ution, is protected from being forced to perform a ceremony be they Christian, Muslim, Jewish, etc. A for profit chapel is not afforded the same protections, nor is a bakery. Both are considered businesses and as such are subject to consumer protection laws, including anti discrimination laws where the proprietor is required to offer the same service equally to all customers.
