Call it symbolism over substance, or just one more entry into the history of gloriously futile efforts. By the way, speaking of history, we are told that this issue of secession was settled in 1865 with the defeat of the South. Now that secession appeals to some liberals, it’s okay now?

Well now, this is quite the bombshell report from The Daily Caller. House Democrat staffers took $100k in Iraqi Money from an Iraqi politician, while they had administrator-level access to the House of Representatives’ computer network. This sounds somewhat not good to me…
The money was a loan from Dr. Ali al-Attar, an Iraqi political figure, and was funneled through a company with “impossible”-to-decipher financial transactions that the congressional information technology (IT) staffers controlled.
Imran Awan, ringleader of the group that includes his brothers Abid and Jamal, has provided IT services since 2005 for Florida Democrat Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (see Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ Latest Deplorable Abortion Comments and DNC Chair Won’t Admit Her Unborn Children were Human). The brothers are from Pakistan.
The trio also worked for dozens of other House Democrats, including members of the intelligence, foreign affairs and homeland security committees. Those positions likely gave them access to congressional emails and other sensitive documents.
Their access to House IT networks has been terminated, and there is an ongoing criminal investigation. I would certainly hope so.
First, kudos to The Daily Caller for the exclusive! I’m sure the “non-partisan” media could have uncovered this if Trump didn’t tweet a thing about another thing. Sad!
