Call it symbolism over substance, or just one more entry into the history of gloriously futile efforts. By the way, speaking of history, we are told that this issue of secession was settled in 1865 with the defeat of the South. Now that secession appeals to some liberals, it’s okay now?

Looking at the map it’s small areas that vote blue. The majority of the state is red. Regardless this will never happen. It would become our constitutional obligation to retain the state for those who wish to remain. In other words it would take California winning a civil war. They have banned assault rifles.
