There are people who are incredibly upset with Mr. Trump’s victory. This is not news, and it’s to be expected after a presidential campaign as vigorous and divisive as the one most recently concluded. Some will protest. Others will write letters. A few will engage in violence. Most will complain. None of them will be happy. Yet for the vast majority, life will go on.
Then there are those who are so incensed by Mr. Trump’s victory that they will organize for future action. As long is that is peaceful and does not advocate violence, they are well within their rights to do so. But what if that involves a state seceding from the United States? Wasn’t that issue settled by the results of the Civil War?
Apparently there are a group of people who have concluded that they cannot live under the administration of President Trump. One option would be for these folks to leave the country. Another option that is apparently under consideration is for their state to leave the country. In other words, to secede. It’s clear these people are serious as you’ll see on page two.
California is a disaster. They are BEGGING FOR FEDERAL FUNDS NOW! Please secede ASAP. Us will save billions on federal grant money for this bunch of liberals and their beloved ILLEGALS! Actually as wonderful as this would be. It will not come to fruition!
Laurie Laurie, Dean Higdon, Debbie Clouse Zachary-Barnett, just because you choose not to believe the facts doesn’t, are then any less true, so instead of hiding behind your “f**e news” card, how about you do a little research on your own and you’ll see that what I’m posting is a fact. The numbers don’t lie. Here’s the article which you won’t believe either, dumbasses. President Trump’s “campaign-style rally” is an excuse from the White House for Trump to spend his 3rd straight weekend in at his private club in Florida at a cost to taxpayers of $3 million. The total cost of Trump’s weekends in Florida amounts to a bill of more than $10 million.
According to a bulletin from the FAA, Trump will be at his private club from Friday through Monday.
The Washington Post reported that Trump’s weekend jaunts to his winter home are costing taxpayers tens of millions of dollars, “Trump’s three Mar-a-Lago trips since the inauguration have probably cost the federal treasury about $10 million, based on figures used in an October government report analyzing White House travel, including money for Coast Guard units to patrol the exposed shoreline and other military, security and staffing expenses associated with moving the apparatus of the presidency. Palm Beach County officials plan to ask Washington to reimburse tens of thousands of dollars a day in expenses for deputies handling added security and traffic issues around the cramped Florida island whenever Trump is in town.”
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is complaining that Trump’s Florida trips are a burden on the local economy and businesses:
The head of the Lantana airport warned that if Trump keeps visiting, he is going to kill the airport by costing tenants more that $1 million in lost revenue during his first year in office.
Trump’s golf outing with Japanese Prime Minister Abe last weekend cost the airport a combined $250,000 due to flight restrictions. The local government is asking Washington for reimbursement for their own increased security costs, and by reimbursement, they mean you, Mr. and Mrs. Taxpayer are going to foot the bill.
President Trump and his family are running up immense bills due to their insistence on “maintaining their lifestyle” while in the White House. The White House keeps inventing cover stories to justify Trump’s Florida vacations. The campaign-style rally is the most absurd one so far, but it is certain not be the last, as Donald Trump is going to keep running up the tab, and taxpayers are getting stuck with the bill.
They keep forgetting what the Civil War was fought over.
Who really cares about Mexifornia?…
The Secret Service is in negotiations with the Trump Organization to take over two vacant floors in the gilded 68-story Fifth Avenue tower, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The federal agency and the NYPD plan to run a 24/7 command post out of the space that would be housed at least 40 floors below Trump’s $90 million penthouse triplex, where wife Melania and their 10-year-old son Barron will continue to reside at least through the spring, sources said.
The first 26 floors of the glass-clad skyscraper are commercial tenants while the remaining levels are luxury apartments.
But several commercial floors are currently vacant, sources said. The Secret Service is eyeing two contiguous floors for over 250 agents and cops, sources said.
The Secret Service must protect the president and his family wherever they go, including visits back to their permanent homes.
For example, the Secret Service paid Vice President Joe Biden $2,200-a-month, to rent out a cottage next to his Wilmington, Del. home, according to a 2011 article in The Washington Times.
And when President Barack Obama spent summer vacations on Martha’s Vineyard and his annual Christmas vacation to Hawaii, his security detail rented private homes and hotel rooms and set up land and sea perimeters over the short stay.

The same is expected when Trump visits his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida as he and his family are doing for the Thanksgiving weekend. Similarly, it cost roughly $2 million a year for the U.S. Coast Guard to station boats off the coast of George H. W. Bush’s Kennebunkport, Maine estate during his presidency.
But in the case of Trump Tower, taxpayers would be paying the president-elect’s own corporation to lease the two floors, aside from the cost of agents, staff and equipment and barriers that are normal in such cases.
The lease deal alone could cost more than $3 million a year, based on prevailing rates in the building.
The Post reported earlier this week that the 17th floor at Trump Tower is available. The floor is currently being marketed in three, 3,000- to 5,000-square-foot parcels at up to $105 per square foot.
At that rate the federal government would be paying $1.5 million a year for just one floor and double that for two levels of Trump Tower offices.
The ready-to-rent 17th floor includes six large south-facing outdoor terraces, private elevators, polished concrete floors — but no brass.
The 15th floor may also be available. The Trump Campaign operated mainly out of that level plus other areas, paying $169,000-a-month for rent and utilities, according to the Federal Election Commission.
Reps for the Trump Organization and the Secret Service did not return messages seeking comment.

The government tenant would be a boon for the building that’s seen a nearly 40 percent rate slash for sales and rentals of residential units in the past year, according to a recent article in The Hollywood Reporter.
Approximately 15 percent of the residential space is for rent or sale while the rest of the luxury housing market enjoys low vacancy rates, the entertainment web site said.
A top Manhattan real estate broker said an exodus is underway at the once sought-after building.
“These are wealthy people. They don’t need this, and they can’t take it any longer. They no longer want to stay there,” the broker told The Post in early November.
The marble-lobbied building is home to art dealer Helly Nahmad and Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort. Past residents include Michael Jackson, Liberace and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
+I am upset with California. Wanting to cut off from the United States, but wants the federal government to pay for it’s broken dams .The government here in California is more corrupt than the U.S. government under Obama. Our Governor , didn’t fix our infrastructure , and our Senators are not taking telephone calls or computer messages from Republicans., The Senators don’t represent all of California people. We need to clean house and drain the swamp in CAlifornia.
Well then there is no point in US tax payers BAILING them out if they are going to seceede.
Millions of Illegals are THe driving force as entrenched leecHes.
And we will never have to listen to Nancy palosie again
Oh there may be those out there who are incredibly upset with ‘PRESIDENT’ Trumps win but they may want to look around and realize just how many of us there are out here who are incredibly upset with their sniveling whining destructive attitudes and ways. Those of us who are nigh on ready to pull more than just a few heads and$#%&!@*down plenty of necks. Also those of us who vastly out number you simpletons by a rather large margin and who are more than ready to lance this festering boil that you’ve become. Perhaps this is a time where you contemplate tip toeing back off to your little comfy closets and console yourself your losses before ya wind up losing extraneous body parts. Oh, I’m more than sure it’ll take the cracking of a few skulls in more than just this reading. But hey, You can’t say you haven’t been given the heads up. Have fun. We most certainly will. Oh, and keep doing the ‘speed bump; thing and blocking the street while you’re at it. It’s so quaint how you fly through the air when hit by a two ton vehicle at say 50 mph.. The blood, broken bones and intestines are such a jolly touch, don’t you think?
