Should you as a parent be informed that your elementary school child would be attending a gay pride school assembly – complete with a gay choir singing about homosexual freedom?
Many parents are outraged when the Glenview Elementary school in Oakland, California didn’t inform them that their kids, as young as 5, would be mandated to attend a recent school assembly where the gay lifestyle would be promoted.

I don’t see the problem with children being taught it’s okay to be gay. And they can’t understand what? A woman can love another woman? a man can love another man? if they can’t understand that how the $#%&!@* are they gonna understand a man can love a woman and vice versa? ya logic is so flawed, sooooo idiotic, it’s sad. WE LIVE, in the land of the free. should the school let you know though? yes. Should they force the kids? no. but the should be allowed to go even if parents don’t want them to that way they don’t end up as $#%&!@*ing ignorant. And no. I’m not some anti-gun, common core loving liberal. I hate common core. i want the gun control act of 68 repealed. I’m an american. Freedom for all. Stop raising your children in ignorance.
Um, yeah, that would be my kids final day in the California public school system. They need to keep that c**p in their bedroom and not before young children.
UGH!
Well let’s see, when your “GOD rights” give you the power to persecute an entire group of people on false pretense in the name of righteous indignation, then yes gay rights are more ok.
My little boy just started the first grade, I would have no problem hiring a tutor and homeschooling him.
Christians can’t express their life style. So why should any body else have the rights to express their life style.

That’s a violation of civil rites I’d sue
who puts this stuff out? how do we know it is the truth? why would they even care if children would ever be gay? if they are born being gay, nothing will change that. another idiot trying to p**s people off and start something
I agree Edith, it shouldn’t be a mandatory thing but there’s nothing wrong with being tolerant for those who would consent to having their children learn acceptance
