Should you as a parent be informed that your elementary school child would be attending a gay pride school assembly – complete with a gay choir singing about homosexual freedom?
Many parents are outraged when the Glenview Elementary school in Oakland, California didn’t inform them that their kids, as young as 5, would be mandated to attend a recent school assembly where the gay lifestyle would be promoted.

HELL NO.
Neither of my grandson’s will be forced into anything his family does not condone!
If my child decides to be a theist, I won’t stop him/her. If my child decides to be an atheist (like me) I’m not gonna stop them. If they’re gay, bi, trans, les, etc. You’re damn right I’m gonna support them. If they wanna be a doctor or a stripper, a firefighter of a tech engineer, a cop or a politician, a teacher or a scientist, they have my full support. But the minute I find them harassing or bullying someone else, we’re gonna have a problem.
Shouldn’t flaunt sexuality in public whether gay, lesbian or straight. That is a private thing.
Strike three for this page….adios haters..
Sorry this is total c**p!!!
I agree Donna but if a straight couple wants to kiss in public, or hug, or hold hands, why shouldn’t a gay or lesbian couple be allowed to do the same? It’s a double standard. Have both or have none.
“Our children should never have do deal with this in school ever” ….. but should children have to deal with bullying, violence and hatred in school because of some immature insecure adults who really shouldn’t be allowed to be called adults because they have a childlike mentality? This is absolutely ridiculous, don’t get your panties in a bunch
So true, Tara
no child should be forced to attend that and the parents should be notified so they have a choice whether they want there child to participate, and my child would not
