Police in Buffalo, N.Y., have set forth a plan to begin confiscating the firearms of legal gun owners within days of their deaths.
This is one more little step in the agenda that gun control advocates have embarked on to inch us closer and closer to complete disarmament.
Of course, a communist government is incompatible with an armed populace.
New enforcement of an old law on the books in one New York city highlights why it’s vital to be cautious and vigilant about firearms rights. Check out the full story and a video summary on the Next Page:
let me take your grandfathers guns
true guns are natural liberty
NO, it begins with mass killings of innocent people and never ends.
Give it to the relatives who are Alive..put it in the will or write it down and put in a safe place…it is NOT theirs to take!
Then think ahead. Get the permits in other names.
Your right it’s not “new” but it certainly isn’t right. Many people have a significant investment in their firearms and now their family are getting stripped of those investments over red tape. They should at the very least be compensated for the value of the firearm but even beyond that unless they are a felon they should be allowed to continue possession.
Registration serves no purpose other than to strip law abiding citizens of their firearms. I mean do you really think that if the criminal who is now in possession of a deceased persons firearm wouldn’t simply say “IDK what happened to it I don’t have it”? Of course they would because they are a criminal and would see it as an opportunity to have a gun illegally. On the other side of things a law abiding citizen would just comply and give up the firearm. What this means is that criminals are armed and law abiding citizens are disarmed. You may ask why a law abiding citizen wouldn’t just go out and register the gun. Well there are many reasons that this could happen such as… A new county sheriff who has decided not to issue new concealed holder permits, a vacation that was preplanned and paid for before the relatives unexpected death (such as a honeymoon), other deaths in the family, a car accident, an illness, a military deployment, or out of state college attendance.
Do these sound like things that people deserve to loose their inheritance over?
Further the police are being dishonest in their enforcement of the law to quote the article
“They’re quick to say they’re going to take the guns,” said Tom King, president of the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association. “But they don’t tell you the law doesn’t apply to long guns, or that these families can sell [their loved one’s] pistol or apply to keep it.”
So while it isn’t a new law it is a new and dishonest way of enforcing it. Further as Truth And Action stated the only reason for NY making their residents register their guns in the first place was so they could confiscate said guns at some time in the future.
I left NY last year and I will NEVER come back because of a plethora of ridiculous laws amounting to over regulation of everything and wage slavery in that state.
Yeah that would never happn
and you think thats ok kevin

Do as Utah has done. Utah passed legislation that federal gun laws do not apply in their state. The10th Amendment gives power back to the states. Sorry, confiscation of deceased peoples guns is not going to happen. Jump on this NRA.
