Police in Buffalo, N.Y., have set forth a plan to begin confiscating the firearms of legal gun owners within days of their deaths.
This is one more little step in the agenda that gun control advocates have embarked on to inch us closer and closer to complete disarmament.
Of course, a communist government is incompatible with an armed populace.
New enforcement of an old law on the books in one New York city highlights why it’s vital to be cautious and vigilant about firearms rights. Check out the full story and a video summary on the Next Page:
Personal property belongs to heirs of deceased*****how can they confiscate something that does not belong to them. BS!!!!
My comment would be what guns? We don’t have any guns. Well we have records that indicate John Brown had these. Good for go ask him yourself….
The guns can be passed down. The police are making sure that the families are aware of the weapons and will hold them for two years to transfer to a family member with a permit as stated below.
According to the law, when a firearm is surrendered, authorities will hold the weapon for up to two years, during which time the estate can sell or transfer it to a licensed permit holder. In the event neither of those things occurs within that time period, the weapon will be disposed of by the authorities.

That is exactly what the law is about. Making sure they get back into the hands of a family member, licensed to carry and also that the family is aware of the guns.

Co-register… that way they’re in two permits. Then they can’t be confiscated
Unconstitutional seizer of property. A gun, like a car, is a possession that legally belongs to the next of kin after death. Of any of those cops get shot trying to illegally collect guns then they deserved it
Y’all are missing the point here, for one saying the family has to be licensed to inherit is illegal has one can still inherit a car even if they have no drivers license. For two guns are a material possession that is legally owned by the next of kin after the death of the owner so the police have no legal right to interfere regardless of there intentions
