This week, Bruce Springsteen claimed that he was standing amount “embarrassed Americans”.
This coming from the man who sings “Born in the USA,” but the signs were there all along. Springsteen’s hit may sound like a patriotic jam, but its intention is often misheard or misunderstood. With lyrics like “So they put a rifle in my hand / Sent me off to a foreign land / To go and kill the yellow man,” the song was a political statement from the very beginning.
The anti-war/anti-America message may have been subtle then, but now Springsteen is making his displeasure with the United States known across the world. His most overt criticism of his home country came this week during a concert in Melbourne, Australia.
See Bruce Springsteen’s full statement on the next page:
U r a fcuk ING embarrassment. & u Don’t speak 4 USA. Never liked u or ur music, because I always new what u were saying, and what I meant u POS!
Don’t speak for me you scumbag
do it oversees u wuss then stay over there and stop taking American money that madeu who u r
I have NEVER been a fan of his bellowing. “Born (in a barn, apparently) in the…USA” given the bellowing inherited from the bull he thought was dad. We were going downhill as a species back then too. Our lack of cultural tastes was a sad pointer to that deevolutionary slip back into the “primordial slime”…
Put me in a room with the bastard and I will break his neck
Void his passport so he can’t get back into Our country
Ciera Rick YOU FIRST!
better off without you Melanie
F U YOU POS…stay overseas, you are an embarrassment to America
Bruce Springsteen sucks !! Period !!!
