Jeb Bush may be out of contention for this presidential race now, but that doesn’t mean he won’t make another try in 2020. Plenty of U.S. presidents rebounded from unsuccessful bids at office to eventually succeed.

Bush attended Phillips Academy, a boarding school in Andover, Massachusetts where he was captain of the tennis team before he met his future wife, Columba Garnica Gallo. Instead of attending Yale University, he went to the University of Texas at Austin. There, he graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Latin-American studies.

Bush went on to have a lucrative career in the Texas Commerce Bank and then followed family tradition by entering politics.
