‘Bonkers’ Biden: American People Agree With the Democratic Party

In a pep talk at the House Democrats Issues Conference in Cambridge, MD on Friday, Joe Biden tried to rebuild Democrats’ self-confidence:

“For the first time in my career, Nancy, on every major issue, the American people agree with the Democratic party,” Biden said, referencing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). “I know that sounds like hyperbole, but think about it, every issue facing the American people, particularly the embattled middle class.”

Biden’s support for this outrageous claim? He pointed out that Republicans gave in on the debt ceiling, and that a majority of Americans don’t support a full repeal of ObamaCare. Never mind that not supporting a full repeal of the system hardly counts as any kind of support for it.

The reason people don’t support a full repeal of the legislation is because of the incredible cost of setting up the national health insurance scheme in the first place – they fear what further disasters the Democrats would cause if they went at it again!

A recent Fox News poll found 55 percent wish Obamacare had never passed, while 51 percent believe the law will do long term harm to the country, and 64 percent don’t believe the law would have passed if the public knew in 2009 what is known about the law today.
