It’s not for doing his job. It’s for not placing a higher value on human life than he did. It’s for thinking that killing a SUSPECT who had not been tried in a court of law was his duty, and that his twisted idea of duty was more important than another man’s life.

And, by the way, yes, he is a good cop; but he is a horrible excuse for a human being. I don’t know how his wife could stay with him, knowing what he has done. But, shows like Sons of Anarchy and The Sopranos, are reflections of our gang culture, and demonstrate that often a killer’s wife is just as evil as he is.
