Even more basic than ‘doing his job’, he’d been attacked by the deceased and after moving away from the officer the deceased turned and started to run toward the officer. I, and the officer, don’t believe he was coming back to apologize. The policeman then exercised EVERY CITIZEN’S right to SELF DEFENSE.
