In one of the most ominous observations ever by a presidential candidate, Dr. Ben Carson has indicated that he believes there may not actually be an election held in 2016 at all.
He suggests that President Barack Obama may conjure up multiple reasons why it is not “prudent” to hand over the reins of government to someone besides himself in a time of crisis. And there are a number of troubling indications that Carson may be right. Obama has shown himself to be a believer in not letting a good crisis go to waste, even one that is self created.
We should consider such events as the Ebola virus scare and associated mandatory quarantine as one way to ensure the public is prevented from congregating in the open. The almost $19 trillion in government debt and the possibility that the Chinese yuan could become the world currency of choice could bring the American economy crashing down, leading to massive riots as welfare, EBT, Medicaid and Medicare card failures make them became worthless.
And certainly the potential or even likelihood of Islamic terrorism on our own shores could lead to a widespread crisis, all suggesting that Obama could declare a change of leadership to be “inconvenient” and perhaps even impossible for an indeterminate period.

There are more people on food stamps under Obama than any other president, EVER. The muslime king has wasted more taxpayer dollars than all other presidents have spent all together.

Marisa Emily Very deceiving number on its face, as it includes police-involved shootings, self-defense shootings (robberies/home invasions), etc. It also is not indicative of “deaths”, nor does it indicate how many guns were not registered. There’s a massive black market for firearms, most/all of which come in through our sieve of a border. Cathy Alexander You have no idea of the fighting capabilities of the Average American. Just because YOU would roll over and submit doesn’t mean I will. The Marine Corps taught me well. I can make booby traps, set an ambush, or put a round through someone’s skull at 500meters. All depends on the circumstance. I WILL NOT SUBMIT.
I would LOVE to see him try it without the support of active duty military or civilian law enforcement. He declare whatever he wants, enforcing it is an entirely different matter.
