The Arizona House of Representatives voted to nullify any and all of Obama’s executive orders. If Bill 2368 passes the Republican-controlled Senate, any of Obama’s despotic executive actions would rendered sterile, unable to reproduce his Marxist measures and ideologies within their state.
It would prohibit the state from “using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with an executive order issued by the president of the United States that has not been affirmed by a vote of the Congress of the United States and signed into law as prescribed by the Constitution of the United States.”

Way to go Arizona! Take this all the way
Now if only the Arizona State Legislature votes to reject the Medicaid expansion that they previously approved.
Awesome. It seems like we have legislators who have read the Federalist papers. Nice work.
this is why i live in az and not cali any more.
Wow…Didn’t realize he’d been President for decades…And you apparently had zero response to the reality of the Constitution…Maybe you should try reading it sometime.
Ummm…You’re a little early in your history…Perhaps under the Articles of Confederation that was true…but under the Constitution, the intent was to form a potent federal government. Check out the federalist papers which were written to explain the rationale behind much of the Constitution.
Mac HesterHope you can do without all of the federal funding your state gets from the federal government. Say goodbye to Ft Bragg, Seymour Johnson AFB, Camp Lejeune, highway funds, social security, medicare/medicaid, and everything else the fed brings to your state. Check it out…33% of your state’s revenue comes from the Fed…Good luck surviving the departure of hundreds of thousands of federal employees, the military bases with their hundreds of thousands of support employees…And didn’t your state just get FEMA assistance just a month or so ago?
Yeah, you just watch how HE turns out…Just another do-nothing Speaker of the House…Endless meaningless show votes is what I foresee…
Nope, it what this means:
The Supremacy Clause is the provision in Article Six, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution that establishes the United States Constitution, federal statutes, and treaties as “the supreme law of the land.” It provides that these are the highest form of law in the United States legal system, and mandates that all state judges must follow federal law when a conflict arises between federal law and either a state constitution or state law of any state.
Federal law is the law of the land, and trumps state law. Therefore the ‘nullification’ the AZ House passed is unconstitutional from the start.
Bill WilliamsAre you stupid or just ignorant? To pass a law requires Congress to write the law, and the PRESIDENT TO SIGN IT. Do you really think he is stupid enough to sign a law that would negate the power of the executive branch? Just how stupid and ignorant are you on civics?
