While some politicians and scientists embrace global warming and climate change with almost religious fervor, new evidence has surfaced to suggest the science is not in fact settled.
Researchers off the coast of Norway’s Svalbard archipelago have discovered that where methane gas bubbles up from seafloor seeps, surface waters above the seeps absorb twice as much carbon dioxide as surrounding waters, thus lessening the impact of climate change.
The previous assumption had been that methane seeps would inevitably increase the amount of greenhouse gases. Seeps occur above fissures on the seafloor caused of the earth’s tectonic activity.
Biogeochemist John Pohlman of the U.S. Geological Survey in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, began the research near Svalbard to learn just how much methane the Arctic Ocean was contributing to the global balance in the atmosphere.
Find out just how surprising the findings were not only to the Pohlman team but other scientists looking at the same issue regarding methane. It’s all found on the next page.
Why do you ignorant liberals have to keep changing the name of your scam. You guys started off with global cooling then global warming now climate change. By the way I’m sure you’re too dumb to understand history. But there’s records after records of mass people dying from when the planet gets to cold ice age Minnie ice age but nothing about when it gets to hot I know too much information I should’ve drawn you a picture
For all you morons, the earth goes through warming and cooling cycles continually, been that way since the beginning of time!
IMPOSSIBLE CNN OTHERWISE!
A Sharknado is coming!
I guess the ice age was human inflicted as well. Also the various periods of prehuman, and also what will occur post human. Then we all narrow it down to Trump. Go$#%&!@*yourselves, stop telling kids and impressionable youth this b.s.
Cool.
LOL
How far have the oceans risen?
Give us some of your overwhelming evidence? Anyone that buys into man made global warming, is nothing short of an idiot. And you better thank God for global warming, otherwise we would be living in the ice age.
To mike p. What percent of the atmosphere is co2?
