Illegal immigrants have just been shown the door. A federal court judge has erred on the side of reason, deciding that the children of illegal immigrants are not entitled to US citizenship. This must be disappointing for illegals looking to suckle on American rights and entitlements without the hassle of actually becoming Americans or troubling to pay taxes like the rest of us.

The US Constitution states that anyone born in America is a citizen. If you start screwing around with that to achieve a greater good then you’re opening a can of worms that needs to stay closed.
I guarantee you can’t move to Mexico, Canada, Germany etc., and raise your family there and assume citizenship illegally.

14 th amendment says they must be born here and under the jurisdiction of the US. They are not. They are under jurisdiction of their own country so they are not automatically citizensv

ddaughter was born in Germany, when I asked about that they told me that she had dual citizenship and there would no problems with it.
That might have been it. Went to high school with a guy that born in Germany. Both parents were Americans, father was military, he had no problem with citizenship.
