How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. For real? A single modern nuke creates an emp barely large enough to disable a small city. Solar flares are hardly strong enough to get through the shielding that almost all devices have built in once it’s weakened or eliminated by the earth’s magnetic field. Something on a scale to knock out the entire country would probably fry humans anyways, and something of that nature would be almost impossible to build in secret, and… Where would you test it?

well if an EMP goes off, not only will we be destroyed as a country and most of the polulation die, but the rest of the world will fall into complete chaos and many more will die. Anyways, if an EMP is detonated over the US and all electronics fry, well ive just been given a week notice tops of my death sentence being diabetic relying on a insulin pump and insulin so i wouldnt even have a fighting chance. oh well. its always been said that the extinction of humans will be caused by humans themselves and each passing day bring me closer to that conclusion
