Not only do we have nuclear deterrent systems in place, north korea is nowhere near launching anything, much less a heavy nuclear payload past the stratosphere. Also an employee would only cripple a few hundred miles worth of electronics at most, emergency services all have emp proof backups and we have had long lasting major blackouts with few problems before
