An electromagnetic pulse. I’ve heard military estimates of being anywhere from 20-40% and it also depends on the time of year you have that electromagnetic pulse. We had one from the sun back in the 90’s that shut down the east coast for a couple of days, but that’s because they wont invest and upgrade the system.

I guess I should have said “MOST” electronics! A pacemaker could present a problem. Although if you know an EMP is likely (you probably won’t) there are steps that could be taken. A Faraday cage would prevent damage to your pacemaker, but living in one 24/7 could be a challenge.
