How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. There are generators that can be taken out with a rifle. If those key generators are destroyed, we could loose power for months.
No an EMP attack would disable 90% of Americans NOT kill them as it would destroy communications Systems, Computers and the Power Grid. Life would go on, but it would be drastically changed. I say this because most people would virtually die without their Electronic Devices, but it would NOT kill that many, the ONLY people that would die is those on life support and have pacemakers that catastrophically fail.
If all electrical power was lost we would loose 50% of our population within the first few months
