Jeff, the 90% comes from the loss of critical infrastructure that allows our artificial way of life. It should be closer to 100% because what all these scenarios fail to account for is that N power plants can’t be without electricity long. Fukishima didn’t happen because of a tsunami , it happened because the plant lost power for 3.5 hours. Anyone who is a proponent of this type of power generation is an idiot or worse if they are in a position of authority.
