How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. A cyber attack or simple physical assault could also take down our highly vulnerable grid.
Such an event would send us all back to the stone age as every single electronic device, including the power grid, would be completely destroyed.

No, it would only affect the area it is in. Yes, it will affect those with heart monitors, diabetic people, elderly with heart or lung problems, kids with problems that need electricity, cars will not drive, and so much more read One Second After and that scared me – have fun when this happens for a lot of other things will begin and for Obama has this all planned out. Together Americans should bond or else you are doomed.
Nine of ten people? Look, many people live in rural communities where we have gardens and livestock and food. It’s not difficult to punch a well in the ground. Electricity is a luxury, people all around the world live without it. The only ones to worry about are those on life supportive machinery, and we have generators for that. This sounds like a scare tactic.
It wouldn’t be that hard to develop back-up systems. I doubt any more than 5% of the USA would be adversely affected.

But think about what would go down if we lose the grid.The entire financial system, gas stations, hospitals. pharmacies, communications of all kinds (emergency vehicles would be useless) transportation systems of all kinds, no gas or electric to heat and cool houses, hospitals, nursing homes.You won’t be able to buy food and the list goes on and on. Almost 50 % voted for the other guy. Welfare recipients have received it for generations and have no skills. No skill people will die out long before those not sucking on Uncle Sugar’s $#%&!@*. I know all about the grid and our reliance on technology. You can dress warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The old, sick, frail and unskilled would probably die off but country folk can survive. They aren’t weenie city folk with no skills. You also forget that some repairs will start to be made following the collapse with key services being prioritized. Items will slowly start to come back on grid. people have become so addicted to modern conveniences that they would die from dehydration, and malnutrition. People would be lost if water did not come out of the faucet, and electricity for a microwave
