I live in a Northern state. Most of your food and energy come from here. If this happened we’d have more than enough of both to go around. Plenty of wood for heat and game animals for food. The cities would be deathtraps.

Craig, I give the American people a bit more credit than you do. This country was built on the ingenuity of the people. I agree that lots of the welfare sponges aren’t gonna make it because they don’t or won’t do anything. There is a large number of people in rural America that can and would survive.
