Ok, this post is retarded. First of all, an emp would obviously have catastrophic results. Not only would the proverbial grid go down but farming would be hurt severely. Btw, im sure that’s why they posted such a high number. But we are Americans, some would die, but we would bounce back. And as someone else already stated, my guns and knives will not be affected. Plus, government networks are so robust and shielded it wouldn’t even scratch defense networks. No. Whoever wrote this is ignorant.

Btw, you can build an emp at home. Start with an iron tube. Wrap it in copper wire, the heavier the gauge the bigger the effect. Then, connect both ends of the wire to a capacitor. You can get one out of a disposable camera. (If you can find one anymore). Then it’s as simple as turning on the capacitor. The electrical current runs through the copper wire in a spiral around the iron rode creating an electro magnetic field. When it reaches the other end of the capacitor it pulses once before re cycling.
