How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. A cyber attack or simple physical assault could also take down our highly vulnerable grid.
Such an event would send us all back to the stone age as every single electronic device, including the power grid, would be completely destroyed.

Oh please — I insisted kids learn how to add and subtract without calculators decades ago for the same reason. I lived without electricity. I know what it’s like, and how to do it. Trust me – it’s very different. The people trying to take down the country would have to deal with the same obstacles.
People today can’t even stay off their cell phones at work…yet, some people think they could survive…don’t think so!
No electricity… No refridgeratio n, all modern vehicles that run on a chip would fail. Trucks could not transport food. People would panic, money would be wortless. Farmers would be ok if they can fight off those high teck city dwellers. As most farmers have guns, and city people have. Little to no low tech survival skills, i would say liberals will die first. Country folks will survive. That is less than 10% of the pop. The rest of u would be toast. A as k yourself, can youmake a fire? Can you hunt? Do you have livestock? Can youmake ammo? Can you fish or gather? How far can you walk in extreme conditions with lots of desperate people around? Can younuild a shelter if you had to? If you lack these skills then you wpuld die.
