EMP would make ALL electronic devices useless, THINK ABOUT IT, planes would fall out of the sky, cars would not run, all refrigerated foods would spoil, no water, no sewer, well you get the point now. Water and non perishable foods. You MIGHT make it if you have a gun to fend off your new neighbor.
