How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. No war has ended because the enemy gets a vote too. We might be spending slightly less money now but the enemy is still at war with US.
Unemployment is down in spite of Obama, not because of Obama. And the primary reason unemployment is down is because the number of Americans in the work force is down. People just left the workforce all together because they couldn’t find jobs.

Prices typically go down in winter with less travel, supply and stockpiles are up with refineries continuing for exports of Deisel to Europe, fewer refinery disruptions due to hurricanes and other acts of God, a barrel of crude is actually down slightly from $110ish to $93ish so that’s a small factor, gasoline demand has been reduced by long high prices, and expectations for relaxed ethanol mix requirements. Probably the biggest reason the prices are dropping is because Saudi Arabia is flooding the market trying to drive out competitors.
Remember that Obama is the one who said energy prices would necessarily skyrocket under his plans.

Once the power grid goes down, only a very small percentage of the population will have power from generators, wind, solar, etc. and will be more concerned about survival than opposing the “government”.
