How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. A cyber attack or simple physical assault could also take down our highly vulnerable grid.
Such an event would send us all back to the stone age as every single electronic device, including the power grid, would be completely destroyed.

The sad part of this is Judge Jeanine is correct and the average person will not be able to survive on their own because they lack the skills or knowledge to survive. Most were born and raised in a disposable throw away world. They couldn’t start a fire to cook or stay warm. How about shelter? Better than that how are they going to protect themselves? The vultures will be out.
Well Dave when the EMP strikes… by the time your trying to put our whole entire system back on line our enemies could be waiting right on our shores getting ready to kick the front door down. Yes you are right we would be screwed and definently! Most of our military is composed of technology whether it’s ships, jets or tanks… when that EMP strikes then most of that equipment that we’ve worked so hard to built would be for nothing.
I would agree with the length of time. Power grid components aren’t sitting on shelves. They are made to order. People that would be screwed would be the non-educated, sick and elderly would be the first wave of people to die. I think we would lose about 50% of the population.

We’ve known about the possibility of an EMP attack for a couple decades. There is little that can be done about it, other than go back to 1960s cars and tube radios.
What will they eat? What will they drink? No heat or air.

an EMP wont kill anyone. The insanity of the human behaviour because they cant use their smartphone is what will kill people. 90% of the U.S. population sure it will kill that many people and im a 10 time olympic champion at masterbation.
