How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. Two things: EMPs are generated by thermonuclear explosions — that is, H-bombs. So, yes, if some foreign power dropped a mess of H-bombs on the US, the power grid would be compromised. We would also have several other problems. 2) One of the first things the President said he wanted to do when he took office was to upgrade and harden the power grid nation-wide to make sure blockouts and brownouts could be limited and controlled in the case of any disaster, natural or otherwise. But oh, well.
The EMP is sad but true. But the reactions from most of the people to this is just ridiculously funny!

While there are a long list of issues to impeach Obama on this is not one. This has been a problem since we started using electricity. North Korea couldn’t get a missile to the US if they put everything they have into the project. Failed twice to launch a orbital rocket what twice? What a joke. Yes a solar flare could has done this but never to an entire country so the impact even large is minor. No more than a hurricane. But sure slowly buy your guns and ammo and store them up.
