The original states granted limited authority to a federal govt. It was always meant for the state’s to control the federal govt not the other way around. The original states would have never given up their control. The Constitution is written as it is. It means what it says. It is not a living document,it specially outlines exactly what the federal govt can do branch by branch. Each branch is to blame for the mess we are in assuming a country. They are supposed to balance each other out but they all seem to be trying to bully each other. Even the courts try to to interpret laws written by congress rather than follow what the law says. The people have to put aside petty differences and hold our congressman accountable to the constitution. From this day on that is the yardstick that matters.
