How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. A cyber attack or simple physical assault could also take down our highly vulnerable grid.
Such an event would send us all back to the stone age as every single electronic device, including the power grid, would be completely destroyed.

Ya one thing I notice in these threads, conservatives think in the past. Saying things like take our country back. Go back to the way it was. Liberals, which I am look to the future. Think about that! I’m going to visit Ireland next year. I will fly from Philadelphia and be there in 6 hours!!! I can text my son in Philly and he gets it immediately. The world is getting smaller and if we want to stay the leader of it and the most powerful country, military and economic we have to have new thinking. Liberals do that. Right wingers don’t.

Enlighten us Chris, what has our President done that is so bad? Has he started two wars on the the taxpayers dime? Has he crippled the economy? What? The event of an emp attack on America would result in an automatic grab for guns for protection even against the government and loss of electric and items powered by electric, but in no way would 90% of the population be gotten rid of. That is what makes America strong.
